Welcome to ShowProgress.app! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ShowProgress.app website located at https://showprogress.app (the "Website") and the B2B SaaS services we provide (the "Services").
By registering an account, purchasing a subscription, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity. If you do not agree, you must not access or use our Website and Services.
1. Description of the Service
ShowProgress.app is a B2B SaaS platform designed for software developers, indie hackers, and small teams building in public. It offers two main utilities:
• Customer Feedback Boards: Allowing your users to submit feedback, request features, report bugs, and upvote existing entries on public or custom domain paths.
• Ship Workspace: Syncing with your repository (e.g. GitHub) to semantically link commits and pull requests to feedback items, using Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform to generate marketing copy (changelog entries and social media posts) which you can review and publish to connected accounts (such as Twitter/X).
2. Account Registration and Integration Access
To use the Services, you must register for an account and connect your third-party developer platforms (such as GitHub) or social accounts (such as Twitter/X).
• Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and integration tokens. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Integrations: You represent and warrant that you own or have the explicit authorization and rights to connect the GitHub repositories and Twitter/X handles linked to your account.
3. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refund Policy
• Pricing & Billing: Access to certain premium features of the Services is subject to payment of fees as specified on our Pricing page. Payments are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis.
• Payment Processor: All credit card details and payment operations are handled securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the recurring subscription fees.
• Refund Policy: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with the platform, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. To request a refund, please contact us at support@showprogress.app.
4. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership
• Our Property: ShowProgress.app and its original content, features, layout design system, brand assets, logos, and source code are the exclusive property of Fidel Echevarria and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
• Your Content: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights over any materials you submit to or generate on the platform, including developer notes, uploaded images/videos, backlog entries, public feedback comments, and changelogs.
• License to Us: You grant ShowProgress.app a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to store, host, process, and display your content solely as necessary to provide and maintain the Services.
5. AI Content Generation and Liability
ShowProgress.app uses Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform to generate marketing content drafts (such as Twitter/X posts and changelogs) based on your development commits and pull requests.
• Draft Status: All AI-generated text or posts are provided as draft suggestions. They are provided on an "as is" basis.
• Review Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of any generated draft before publishing it to your public changelog or your connected Twitter/X profile.
• Usage Quotas & Limits: AI features, including generation sessions and repository scans, are subject to the monthly limits defined on our Pricing page. Unused quotas do not roll over to the following month. For plans including "Unlimited" AI use, a Fair Use Policy applies to prevent automated abuse or scripts, with soft limits enforced at our discretion.
• No Liability: We shall not be held liable or responsible for any content published by you, even if originally drafted or suggested by the platform's AI generator.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Website or Services to:
• Conduct any unlawful activity or host/transmit illegal, offensive, or harassing materials on public boards.
• Attempt to breach, disable, or circumvent any security or authentication measures of ShowProgress.app.
• Interfere with other users' access, or conduct denial-of-service/load testing against our infrastructure.
• Test or connect repositories or codebases for which you do not have authorization.
7. Limitation of Liability and Warranties
ShowProgress.app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and your relationship with ShowProgress.app shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Seville, Spain.
9. Termination
You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account and canceling your active subscriptions. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services immediately, with or without notice, in the event of a material breach of these Terms.
